Plastic woven bags, also known as snake skin bags, are a type of plastic bag. They are mainly made from resins and other polymers. The process involves extruding and stretching the material into flat filaments, which are then woven, knitted and formed into bags. Currently, plastic woven bags are widely used in the packaging of industrial and agricultural products, food packaging, and in the packaging process of the logistics and transportation industry.
The current standard for plastic woven bags is "GB/T 8946-2013 General Technical Requirements for Plastic Woven Bags", which mainly applies to plastic woven bags made from main raw materials such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and polyester, through extrusion, stretching into flat filaments, weaving, and bag-making processes. This standard replaces "GB/T 8946-1998 Plastic Woven Bags" and "GB/T 8947-1998 Composite Plastic Woven Bags", and is currently the sole standard for plastic woven bags.
